Thinking EVIL

Yesterday i was watching a show on discovery channel, and they were interviewing a priest about the existence of devils like dracula,he said something which stormed my mind, he said " If you believe in god then why you deny the existence evil ". I think he was right in saying that, and no wonder why anyone who believes in god also suffers from the fear of evil power and to overcome that he sometimes performs foolish rituals or may even wage wars to eliminate that evil in the name of God. so I question you who is the real evil,is it the very name of god or are we the real evil entities living on this planet who with their irrational thoughts about things that never have been seen and i dont think that even exist have plagued our species since its beginning. We evolved to become a species which are very good in using their brains and not our skin (like octopus to chamouflague) to sustain our existence. But i think instead of being a boom its turning out to be a disaster, and if we are not quick to change our thinking patterns( almost about everything be it religion, environment, social and political responsibilities,behaviour etc.)we are sure to become extinct species even though we were made to explore this universe.
