Nepenthe

There is a disease in the heart of man. Its symptom is hate. Its symptom is anger. Its symptom is rage. Its symptom is war. The disease is human emotion. It has some other indicants like Love, faith, and nostalgic yearning, which seem to be beautiful but ultimately they lead to obsession, extremism and fundamentalism. Emotion gives rise to desire which transforms to greed in no time.

The question here is can our volatile nature be trusted? Are we mature enough as a species to dominate this planet?

Every species maintains equilibrium with the nature but we are destroying it! we are destroying the very environment we are living in, we are polluting the very air we are breathing, we are contaminating the very water that we are drinking.  We have already pushed many species into extinction, and a lot more are in line.

Our faiths are colliding and instead of evolving and changing with the changing times we are becoming overprotective of our culture and of our past. More money is being donated to temples than educational institutes; more money is put into military activities than health facilities.

And this social epidemic is taking birth at the very individual level, no wonder every employee wants a better paying job, every employer wants to maximize its profit. Big organizations want to become huge! Every one wants to be rich and richer and there is no end to it. One never realizes but the urge to succeed and to become the best is pushing us to the abyss of our morality. Already we have vandalized many children, many families, many societies in the name of religion, language and patriotism and henceforth such a dangerous disease shall no longer be ignored.

So what is the cure for this disease?

Give up your religion, repudiate your cast, abandon your culture and abdicate your faith. I know these are not easy things because somewhere in your subconscious it doesn't seems right, you are repulsive about it you are repulsive about the change. Since childhood you have been taught to fold hands in front of your god, you have been preached to the core of your heart, your preaching now lives inside you and you cannot renounce it.

It is shameful for us to still be so intolerant to change, that we almost negate it without any second thought. We follow practices that were formulated 2000 years ago but are reluctant to acknowledge problems that exist presently and are haunting our future. We have become slaves of our emotions and our actions are mere reactions of hormonal ambiguities. We should not let our emotions drive us into chaos as its nascence itself is out of chaos. At the cost of the dizzying highs of human emotion, we have to suppress its abysmal lows. We as a society must embrace the cure. Against all odds, and our own natures we must rise in our intellect, we must in ourselves anesthetize grief, annihilate jealousy, obliterate rage and those sister impulses towards joy, love, and elation must also be abandoned in stride, we should accept it as fair sacrifice, ‘cause it will exempt us from pathos, from sorrow, the deepest chasms of melancholy and hate. War will be gone and Hate, will be a memory.

Dude don't obsess about obsessions. First try to lose yourself to something before trying to save yourself from being lost.
